"Kite" is a novel by Michal Balucki, published in 1937. The novel tells the story of Derzhmashev, who was previously a White Army officer and now lives in poverty. He is proud of his history but still suffers from tragic events that took place in his past. Through modeling ships and kites, he finds a way to cope with loneliness and despair.
