"The Mystery of the Yellow Room" is a detective novel by French writer Gaston Leroux, published in 1908. The main character, the reporter Joseph Rouletabille, tries to solve the murder. There is one incredible oddity in it — the crime took place in a locked room, and the perpetrator disappeared.
